It is narrated from Hazrat Muadh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) that once he requested the Messenger of Allah for some advice. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "Fear Allah wherever you are." I requested for more, so he said: "Whenever you commit a sin, follow it up with a good deed which will erase it." I requested for more, so he said: "Behave with people with good manners."
