Hadith 21997

It is narrated from Hazrat Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) set out on a journey; this is the incident of the Battle of Tabuk. During this journey, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) combined the Zuhr and Asr prayers, and the Maghrib and Isha prayers. The narrator asked the reason for this, so he replied that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wished that his Ummah should not face hardship.
