حدثنا عبد الله , حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْوَرَكَانِيُّ , حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ , عَنْ سِمَاكٍ , عَنْ قَبِيصَةَ بْنِ هُلْبٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ طَعَامِ النَّصَارَى , فَقَالَ : " لَا يَخْتَلِجَنَّ أَوْ لَا يَحِيكَنَّ فِي صَدْرِكَ طَعَامٌ ضَارَعْتَ فِيهِ النَّصْرَانِيَّةَ " . قَالَ : " وَكَانَ يَنْصَرِفُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ وَعَنْ يَمِينِهِ , وَيَضَعُ إِحْدَى يَدَيْهِ عَلَى الْأُخْرَى " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Hilb (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man asked the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that there are some foods which I feel disgusted by and I feel uneasy about them. So I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying that such doubts should not arise in your hearts as the Christians were afflicted with, and you too start doubting like them. And the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would return from the right side as well as from the left side, and would place his right hand over his left hand.
