Hadith 2193

Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the practice of hastening the riding animals was started by the Bedouin people; these people had stopped at the edges so that they could hang their staffs, quivers, and bowls. When they set out, they took these things along with them. They departed along with the people (but in the aforementioned manner). At that time, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was seen in such a state that the back part of the ears of his she-camel was touching the camel driver, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was gesturing with his hands and saying, "People! Be calm, people! Adopt calmness and dignity."
