Saeed bin Nafi’ (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once I was performing the Duha (forenoon) prayer at the time of sunrise, when Hazrat Abu Basheer Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) saw me. He considered it objectionable to pray at that time and forbade me from doing so, and said that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Do not pray until the sun has risen high, because it rises between the two horns of Satan.
