حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ , عَنِ التَّيْمِيِّ , عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ , عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ , قَالَ : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْخُذُنِي وَالْحَسَنُ , فَيَقُولُ : " اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُحِبُّهُمَا , فَأَحِبَّهُمَا " . قَالَ يَحْيَى : قَالَ التَّيْمِيُّ : كُنْتُ أُحَدِّثُ بِهِ , فَدَخَلَنِي مِنْهُ , فَقُلْتُ : أَنَا أُحَدِّثُ بِهِ مُنْذُ كَذَا وَكَذَا , فَوَجَدْتُهُ مَكْتُوبًا عِنْدِي.
It is narrated from Hazrat Usama (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would sometimes take hold of me and seat me on his thigh, and seat Hazrat Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) on the other thigh, then embrace us and say: O Allah! Since I love both of them, so You also love them.
