حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ , حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ , عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ , عَنْ عُرْوَةَ , عَنْ أُسَامَةَ , قَالَ : أَشْرَفَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى أُطُمٍ مِنْ آطَامِ الْمَدِينَةِ , فَقَالَ : " هَلْ تَرَوْنَ مَا أَرَى ؟ " , قَالُوا : لَا , قَالَ : " إِنِّي لَأَرَى الْفِتَنَ تَقَعُ خِلَالَ بيوتكمِ كَوَقْعِ الْمَطَرِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) climbed a hillock in Madinah Munawwarah and said, "Do you see what I am seeing?" The people replied, "No." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "I am seeing that tribulations are appearing in your homes like the falling of raindrops."
