حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ , حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ , عَنْ قَتَادَةَ , عَنْ عَزْرَةَ , عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ , عَنْ أُسَامَةَ أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُ , قَالَ : " كُنْتُ رِدْفَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ أَفَاضَ مِنْ عَرَفَاتٍ , فَلَمْ تَرْفَعْ رَاحِلَتُهُ رِجْلَهَا عَادِيَةً حَتَّى بَلَغَ جَمْعًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Usama (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) returned from Arafat, I was riding behind him. The mount of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not raise its foot swiftly until the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) reached Muzdalifah.
