حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ , عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ , عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ , عَنْ أُسَامَةَ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " قُمْتُ عَلَى بَابِ الْجَنَّةِ , فَإِذَا عَامَّةُ مَنْ دَخَلَهَا الْمَسَاكِينُ , وَإِذَا أَصْحَابُ الْجَدِّ وَقَالَ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ , وَغَيْرُهُ : إِلَّا أَصْحَابَ الْجَدِّ مَحْبُوسُونَ , إِلَّا أَصْحَابَ النَّارِ , فَقَدْ أُمِرَ بِهِمْ إِلَى النَّارِ , وَقُمْتُ عَلَى بَابِ النَّارِ , فَإِذَا عَامَّةُ مَنْ يَدْخُلُهَا النِّسَاءُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Usama (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I stood at the gate of Paradise and saw that the majority of those entering it were the poor, while the wealthy were being held back (by the angels for accounting), except for those who were destined for Hell—they had already been ordered to enter Hell. And I stood at the gate of Hell and saw that the majority of those entering it were women.
