Hadith 21778

حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ , عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ , سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ , يَقُولُ : حَدَّثَنِي أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ , عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ مَرَّةً : أَخْبَرَنِي أُسَامَةُ , أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " الرِّبَا فِي النَّسِيئَةِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no usury in a cash transaction; it is only in a deferred transaction.
