حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ , حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ , أَخْبَرَنِي عَيَّاشُ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ , أَنَّ أَبَا النَّضْرِ حَدَّثَهُ , عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ , أَنَّ أُسَامَةَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ أَخْبَرَ وَالِدَهُ سَعْدَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ , قَالَ : فَقَالَ لَهُ : إِنَّ رَجُلًا جَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ : إِنِّي أَعْزِلُ عَنِ امْرَأَتِي , قَالَ : " لِمَ " , قَالَ : شَفَقًا عَلَى وَلَدِهَا , أَوْ عَلَى أَوْلَادِهَا , فَقَالَ : " إِنْ كَانَ لَذَلِكَ فَلَا مَا ضَارَّ ذَلِكَ , فَارِسَ وَلَا الرُّومَ " .
Hazrat Usama (may Allah be pleased with him) once told Hazrat Saad bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the service of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "I want to practice coitus interruptus with my wife." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked him the reason, so he replied that it was because of her children. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "If you want to do it only for this reason, then do not do it, because even the people of Persia and Rome have not been harmed by this thing."
