حَدَّثَنَا حَسيَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْشَرٍ , عَنْ سُلَيْمٍ مَوْلًى لَيْثٍ , وَكَانَ قَدِيمًا قَالَ : مَرَّ مَرْوَانُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ , عَلَى أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي , فَحَكَاهُ مَرْوَانُ , قَالَ أَبُو مَعْشَرٍ : وَقَدْ لَقِيَهُمَا جَمِيعًا , فَقَالَ أُسَامَةُ : يَا مَرْوَانُ , سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ فَاحِشٍ مُتَفَحِّشٍ " .
Marwan bin Hakam once passed by Hazrat Usama (may Allah be pleased with him) while he was praying. Marwan began telling stories. On one occasion when the two met, Hazrat Usama (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Marwan! I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Allah Almighty does not like anyone who is shameless and foul-mouthed."
