ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 2173

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : " صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعِيدَ ثُمَّ خَطَبَ ، وَصَلَّى أَبُو بَكْرٍ ثُمَّ خَطَبَ ، وَعُمَرُ ثُمَّ خَطَبَ ، وَعُثْمَانُ ثُمَّ خَطَبَ ، بِغَيْرِ أَذَانٍ وَلَا إِقَامَةٍ " .
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that he was present on the occasion of Eid with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and with Sayyiduna Abu Bakr, Sayyiduna Umar, and Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with them all); all of these noble persons used to lead the prayer before the sermon, without any call to prayer (adhan) or call to stand (iqamah).
