حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ , حَدَّثَنَا هِمامٌ , عَنْ قَتَادَةَ , عَنْ خُلَيْدٍ الْعَصَرِيِّ , عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا طَلَعَتْ شَمْسٌ قَطُّ إِلَّا بُعِثَ بِجَنْبَتَيْهَا مَلَكَانِ يُنَادِيَانِ , يُسْمِعَانِ أَهْلَ الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا الثَّقَلَيْنِ : يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ هَلُمُّوا إِلَى رَبِّكُمْ , فَإِنَّ مَا قَلَّ وَكَفَى خَيْرٌ مِمَّا كَثُرَ وَأَلْهَى , وَلَا آبَتْ شَمْسٌ قَطُّ إِلَّا بُعِثَ بِجَنْبَتَيْهَا مَلَكَانِ يُنَادِيَانِ , يُسْمِعَانِ أَهْلَ الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا الثَّقَلَيْنِ : اللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِ مُنْفِقًا خَلَفًا , وَأَعْطِ مُمْسِكًا مَالًا تَلَفًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whenever the sun rises, two angels are sent on its both sides who proclaim, "And all the inhabitants of the earth hear this proclamation except jinn and humans," saying: O people! Come towards your Lord, for a little that suffices is better than much that distracts. Similarly, whenever the sun sets, two angels are sent on its both sides who proclaim, and all the inhabitants of the earth hear this proclamation except jinn and humans, saying: O Allah! Grant a substitute to the one who spends, and O Allah! Destroy the wealth of the one who withholds.
