Hadith 21700

حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ , عَنْ سَالِمٍ , عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ , قَالَتْ : دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا يَوْمًا أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ مُغْضَبًا , فَقَالَتْ : مَا لَكَ ؟ فقَال : " وَاللَّهِ مَا أَعْرِفُ فِيهِمْ شَيْئًا مِنْ أَمْرِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا أَنَّهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ جَمِيعًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Darda (may Allah be pleased with her) that once Hazrat Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) came to her in a state of intense anger. She asked the reason, so he said: "By Allah! I do not see any of the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) among the people. Now, only this much remains that they gather together and perform the prayer."
