Hadith 21696

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ , حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ , حَدَّثَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ , عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ , عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ : " كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ , وَإِنَّ أَحَدَنَا لَيَضَعُ يَدَهُ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ مِنْ شِدَّةِ الْحَرِّ , وَمَا مِنَّا صَائِمٌ إِلَّا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَوَاحَةَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we were on a journey with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and due to the intensity of the heat, we would place our hands on our heads. On that occasion, none among us was fasting except the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and Hazrat Abdullah bin Rawaha (may Allah be pleased with him).
