حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ , حَدَّثَنَا حَرْبٌ , حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى , حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ , حَدَّثَنِي بُسْرُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ , حَدَّثَنِي زَيْدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيُّ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا , فَقَدْ غَزَا , وَمَنْ خَلَفَ غَازِيًا فِي أَهْلِهِ بِخَيْرٍ , فَقَدْ غَزَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Zaid bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever provides equipment for a warrior in the path of Allah, or looks after his family in his absence, will have a reward equal to that of the warrior, and nothing will be diminished from the warrior’s reward in the least.
