حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنِ الرُّكَيْنِ ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنِّي تَارِكٌ فِيكُمْ خَلِيفَتَيْنِ كِتَابُ اللَّهِ وَأَهْلُ بَيْتِي ، وَإِنَّهُمَا لَنْ يَتَفَرَّقَا حَتَّى يَرِدَا عَلَيَّ الْحَوْضَ جَمِيعًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I am leaving among you two deputies; one is the Book of Allah, which is a rope hanging between the heavens and the earth, and the other is my Ahl al-Bayt. And these two things will never be separated until they come to me at the Pond of Kawthar.
