Hadith 21651

It is narrated from Hazrat Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever gives property to someone for a lifetime, it will belong to the giver both during his life and after his death. Do not make the ownership of any property dependent on death (i.e., that when the person dies, his ownership ends). If anyone does so, then the rules of inheritance will apply to it.
