حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ حُجْرٍ الْمَدَرِيِّ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْعُمْرَى لِلْوَارِثِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) declared "Umari" and (the property which is handed over to someone for a lifetime) as the right of the heir.
