حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْجَهْمِ ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ وُهْبَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ خَالَفَ الْجَمَاعَةَ شِبْرًا ، خَلَعَ رِبْقَةَ الْإِسْلَامِ مِنْ عُنُقِهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever walks even a handspan against the congregation removes the rope of Islam from his neck.
