حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، وَيَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُطَرِّفٌ يَعْنِي الْحَارِثِيَّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْجَهْمِ ، قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ مَوْلَى الْبَرَاءِ ، وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ خَيْرًا ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ وَهْبَانَ ، قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ ، أَوْ وُهْبَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " كَيْفَ أَنْتَ وَأَئِمَّةً مِنْ بَعْدِي يَسْتَأْثِرُونَ بِهَذَا الْفَيْءِ ؟ ! " قَالَ : قُلْتُ : إِذَنْ ، وَالَّذِي بَعَثَكَ بِالْحَقِّ أَضَعَ سَيْفِي عَلَى عَاتِقِي ، ثُمَّ أَضْرِبَ بِهِ حَتَّى أَلْقَاكَ أَوْ أَلْحَقَ بِكَ ، قَالَ : " أَوَلَا أَدُلُّكَ عَلَى مَا هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنْ ذَلِكَ ؟ تَصْبِرُ حَتَّى تَلْقَانِي " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "What will your condition be when, after me, the rulers will give preference to others over you in the spoils of war?" I said, "Then by the One Who sent you with the truth, I will place my sword on my shoulder and fight them until I meet you." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Shall I not show you a better way than this? Be patient until you meet me."
