Hadith 21529

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ أَبُو مَسْعُودٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ العَنَزي ، عَنِ ابْنِ الصَّامِتِ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَيُّ الْكَلَامِ أَحَبُّ إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ؟ قَالَ : " مَا اصْطَفَاهُ لِمَلَائِكَتِهِ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ ، سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ ، ثَلَاثًا تَقُولُهَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that a person asked the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), "Which speech is the best?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "That which Allah has chosen for His servants, that is, to say three times: Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi."
