حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ مُوَرِّقٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ لَاءَمَكُمْ مِنْ خَدَمِكُمْ فَأَطْعِمُوهُمْ مِمَّا تَأْكُلُونَ ، وَاكْسُوهُمْ مِمَّا تَلْبَسُونَ ، أَوْ قَالَ : تَكْتَسُونَ وَمَنْ لَا يُلَائِمُكُمْ ، فَبِيعُوهُ ، وَلَا تُعَذِّبُوا خَلْقَ اللَّهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If the servant of any one of you comes to you, then feed him with what you eat yourself, and feed him with what you eat yourself, and clothe him with what you wear yourself. And if he does not suit you, then sell him and do not subject the creation of Allah to torment.
