حَدَّثَنَا عَارِمٌ ، وَعَفَّانُ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ ، عَنْ وَاصِلٍ مَوْلَى أَبِي عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُقَيْلٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَعْمَرَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ الدِّيْلِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يُصْبِحُ عَلَى كُلِّ سُلَامَى مِنْ أَحَدِكُمْ صَدَقَةٌ ، وَكُلُّ تَسْبِيحَةٍ صَدَقَةٌ ، وَتَهْلِيلَةٍ صَدَقَةٌ ، وَتَكْبِيرَةٍ صَدَقَةٌ ، وَتَحْمِيدَةٍ صَدَقَةٌ ، وَأَمْرٌ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ صَدَقَةٌ ، وَنَهْيٌ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ صَدَقَةٌ ، وَيُجْزِئُ أَحَدَكُمْ مِنْ ذَلِكَ كُلِّهِ رَكْعَتَانِ يَرْكَعُهُمَا مِنَ الضُّحَى " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Charity is due upon every joint of each one of you every morning. Every utterance of SubhanAllah is charity, every utterance of La ilaha illallah is charity, every utterance of Allahu Akbar is charity, every utterance of Alhamdulillah is charity, enjoining good is charity, and forbidding evil is charity. And all these are compensated by two rak‘ahs that any one of you prays at the time of Duha.
