حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُؤَمَّلِ ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، أَنَّهُ أَخَذَ بِحَلْقَةِ بَابِ الْكَعْبَةِ ، فَقَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " لَا صَلَاةَ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ ، وَلَا بَعْدَ الْفَجْرِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ إِلَّا بِمَكَّةَ إِلَّا بِمَكَّةَ " .
Hazrat Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) once held the ring of the door of the Ka'bah and said: I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say that there is no prayer after the Asr prayer until sunset, and there is no prayer after the Fajr prayer until sunrise, except in Makkah Mukarramah.
