حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ مُنْذِرٍ الثَّوْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَشْيَاخٍ لَهُمْ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ مُنْذِرِ بْنِ يَعْلَى أَبِي يَعْلَى ، عَنْ أَشْيَاخٍ لَهُ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى شَاتَيْنِ تَنْتَطِحَانِ ، فَقَالَ : " يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ ، هَلْ تَدْرِي فِيمَ تَنْتَطِحَانِ ؟ " قَالَ : لَا ، قَالَ : " لَكِنَّ اللَّهَ يَدْرِي ، وَسَيَقْضِي بَيْنَهُمَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that once he saw two goats butting each other with their horns. He said, "Abu Dharr! Do you know why they are butting each other with their horns?" He replied, "No." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "But Allah knows, and soon He will judge between them as well."
