Hadith 21330

حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " إِذَا قَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ ، فَإِنَّ الرَّحْمَةَ تُوَاجِهُهُ ، فَلَا يَمْسَحْ الْحَصَى " .
It is narrated marfu'an from Hazrat Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that when any one of you stands for prayer, the mercy of Allah turns towards him, therefore he should not play with pebbles.
