Hadith 21322

حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَا يَسُرُّنِي أَنَّ لِي أُحُدًا ذَهَبًا ، أَمُوتُ يَوْمَ أَمُوتُ وَعِنْدِي مِنْهُ دِينَارٌ أَوْ نِصْفُ دِينَارٍ ، إِلَّا أَنْ أَرْصُدَهُ لِغَرِيمٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I do not like that Mount Uhud be turned into gold for me and that when I depart from this world, even one or half a dinar from it remains with me, except if I have kept it for the sake of a creditor.
