حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَابِقٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ ، عَنْ الْمَعْرُورِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَقُولُ اللَّهُ : يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ ، لَوْ عَمِلْتَ قِرَابَ الْأَرْضِ خَطَايَا وَلَمْ تُشْرِكْ بِي شَيْئًا ، جَعَلْتُ لَكَ قُرَابَ الْأَرْضِ مَغْفِرَةً " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) with reference to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that Allah Almighty says: O son of Adam! If you commit sins as much as the earth but do not associate anyone with Me, then I will appoint forgiveness for you as much as the earth.
