حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ ، عَنْ الطُّفَيْلِ بْنِ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَجُلٌ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ جَعَلْتُ صَلَاتِي كُلَّهَا عَلَيْكَ ؟ قَالَ : " إِذَنْ يَكْفِيَكَ اللَّهُ مَا أَهَمَّكَ مِنْ دُنْيَاكَ وَآخِرَتِكَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man presented himself in the court of the Messenger and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Tell me, if I devote all my supplications to sending blessings upon you, what is the ruling?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "In that case, Allah Almighty will suffice you in all your affairs of this world and the Hereafter."
