حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ أَبُو يَحْيَى الْبَزَّازُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حُذَيْفَةَ مُوسَى بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عُتَيٍّ ، عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ مَطْعَمَ ابْنِ آدَمَ جُعِلَ مَثَلًا لِلدُّنْيَا ، وَإِنْ قَزَّحَهُ ، وَمَلَّحَهُ ، فَانْظُرُوا إِلَى مَا يَصِيرُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The food of the son of Adam has been made an example of the world; no matter how many salts and spices you add to it, see what its end will be?
