Hadith 21235

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد الله ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ، عَنْ عَوْفٍ ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عُتَيٍّ ، عَنْ أُبَيٍّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، مِثْلَهُ . .
The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain.
A man from Ati bin Damrah Sa'di attributed himself falsely to someone... Then the narrator mentioned the entire hadith and said: He (the Prophet) said, "We have been commanded to do this, and the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded us that if you hear a man attributing himself to the days of ignorance, then make him feel ashamed through his father's private parts."
