حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، وحَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ ، وَقَالَ عَبْد الوَاحِد فِي حَدِيثِهِ : حَدَّثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ ، عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " بَشِّرْ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةَ بِالسَّنَاءِ ، وَالنَّصْرِ ، وَالتَّمْكِينِ ، فَمَنْ عَمِلَ مِنْهُمْ عَمَلَ الْآخِرَةِ لِلدُّنْيَا ، لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ نَصِيبٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Give glad tidings to this Ummah of greatness and elevation, religion and help, and authority on the earth (the narrator is in doubt about the sixth thing). So whoever among them performs an act of the Hereafter for the sake of the world will have no share in the Hereafter.
