حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ ، عَنْ زِرٍّ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ أُبَيًّا عَنِ الْمُعَوِّذَتَيْنِ ، فَقَالَ : إِنِّي سَأَلْتُ عَنْهُمَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " فَقِيلَ لِي ، فَقُلْتُ " فَأَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَنَحْنُ نَقُولُ . .
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from 'Asim ibn Bahdalah, from Zirr, who said: I asked Ubayy about the two chapters of seeking refuge (al-Mu'awwidhatayn), and he said: I asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, about them, and he said: "It was said to me, so I said." So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded us, so we say them. .
