حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنِي سُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُوقَرِيُّ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بَكْرِ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ يَغُوثَ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ أُبَيَّ بْنَ كَعْبٍ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : . . . فَذَكَرَهُ ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِيهِ مَرْوَانَ . .
Abdullah narrated to us, he said: Suwayd ibn Sa'id narrated to us, al-Walid ibn Muhammad al-Muqari narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, who said: I heard Abu Bakr ibn Abd al-Rahman, who said: I heard Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Aswad ibn Abd Yaghuth, who said: I heard Ubayy ibn Ka'b, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: ... then he mentioned it, and he did not mention Marwan in it ...
