حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ ، عَنْ حَمْزَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنْ أُبَيٍّ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " قَرَأَ إِنْ سَأَلْتُكَ عَنْ شَيْءٍ بَعْدَهَا فَلا تُصَاحِبْنِي قَدْ بَلَغْتَ مِنْ لَدُنِّي عُذْرًا سورة الكهف آية 76 " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) with reference to Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited the word "balaghta" with tashdeed, that is, "ballaghta", in the verse "If I ask you about anything after this, then do not keep me in your company. You have conveyed..."
