حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ الْمَكِّيِّ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنْ أُبِيٍّ ، قَالَ : آخِرُ آيَةٍ نَزَلَتْ لَقَدْ جَاءَكُمْ رَسُولٌ مِنْ أَنْفُسِكُمْ سورة التوبة آية 128 .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) with reference to Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that the last verse of the Noble Qur'an to be revealed was: "There has certainly come to you a Messenger from among yourselves..."
