حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " لَمْ تُنْقِصْهُمْ الدُّنْيَا شَيْئًا ، وَيُمْشَطُ بِأَمْشَاطِ الْحَدِيدِ مَا دُونَ عَظْمِهِ مِنْ لَحْمٍ وَعَصَبٍ ، لَا يَصْرِفُهُ عَنْ دِينِهِ شَيْءٌ " .
Muhammad ibn Yazid narrated to us, Isma'il narrated to us, and he mentioned its meaning except that he said: "The world did not diminish them in anything, and iron combs were used on the flesh and nerves beneath his bone, yet nothing turned him away from his religion."
