حَدَّثَنَا
حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ
زَائِدَةَ ، عَنْ
سِمَاكٍ ، عَنْ
جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
" يَقْرَأُ فِي صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ بِ " ق وَالْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِيدِ " وَكَانَتْ صَلَاتُهُ بَعْدُ تَخْفِيفًا . وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا صَلَّى الْفَجْرَ قَعَدَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding the prayer of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to lead a light prayer, and in Fajr prayer, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would recite Surah Qaf and similar surahs.
It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that after performing the Fajr prayer, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would remain seated in his place until sunrise.
