Hadith 20992

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سِمَاكٌ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ ، وَقِيلَ لَهُ : أَكَانَ فِي رَأْسِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَيْبٌ ؟ قَالَ : " لَمْ يَكُنْ فِي رَأْسِهِ وَلَا فِي لِحْيَتِهِ إِلَّا شَعَرَاتٌ فِي مَفْرِقِ رَأْسِهِ ، إِذَا دَهَنَهُنَّ وَارَاهُنَّ الدُّهْنُ " .
Someone asked Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) about the white hair of the Prophet (peace be upon him), so he replied that the Prophet (peace be upon him) had a few white hairs on his head. When he applied oil to his head, the whiteness of the hair was not apparent.
