حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، وَشَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ، " أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ ، فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the blessed era of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), it was found out that a man had committed suicide. Upon hearing this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not offer his funeral prayer.
