حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي سِمَاكٌ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَمَّى الْمَدِينَةَ طَابَةَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir bin Samurah, may Allah be pleased with him, that once the mention of Madinah Munawwarah was made in the presence of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, so he said that Allah has named Madinah Munawwarah as "Tābah".
