حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنِي خَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ الْبَزَّارُ الْمُقْرِئُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " إِذَا صَلَّى الْفَجْرَ ، قَعَدَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that after offering the Fajr prayer, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to remain seated in his place until the sun had risen.
