حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْمَوْصِلِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ، قَالَ : صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " فَكَانَتْ صَلَاتُهُ قَصْدًا ، وَخُطْبَتُهُ قَصْدًا " .
Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I performed prayer with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) sermon and prayer used to be moderate.
