It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that after offering the Fajr prayer, he used to remain seated in his place until sunrise, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would recite Surah Qaf and similar surahs in the Fajr prayer and would lead a short prayer.
