حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ عِيسَى أَبُو بِشْرٍ الرَّاسِبِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ أَبُو زَيْدٍ الْقَيْسِيُّ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْأَحْوَلِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : قَدْ رَأَى عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَرْجِسَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لَمْ تَكُنْ لَهُ صُحْبَةٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Sarjis (may Allah be pleased with him) that he saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), but did not get the opportunity of companionship.
