حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَرْجِسَ ، قَالَ : تَرَوْنَ هَذَا الشَّيْخَ ؟ يَعْنِي نَفْسَهُ كَلَّمْتُ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَكَلْتُ مَعَهُ ، وَرَأَيْتُ " الْعَلَامَةَ الَّتِي بَيْنَ كَتِفَيْهِ ، وَهِيَ فِي طَرَفِ نُغْضِ كَتِفِهِ الْيُسْرَى ، كَأَنَّهُ جُمْعٌ يَعْنِي الْكَفَّ الْمُجْتَمِعَ ، وَقَالَ بِيَدِهِ فَقَبَضَهَا عَلَيْهِ خِيلَانٌ كَهَيْئَةِ الثَّآلِيلِ " .
Hazrat Abdullah bin Sarjis (may Allah be pleased with him) once said about himself: "Do you see this old man? I have spoken with the Prophet (peace be upon him), eaten food with him, and seen the Seal of Prophethood between his shoulders. It was on the corner of his left shoulder, like a fist." He gestured with his hand to show the size of a fist, and on the Seal of Prophethood there were raised moles like warts.
