حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَلِيحِ بْنِ أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ نُبَيْشَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " إِنَّا كُنَّا نَهَيْنَاكُمْ أَنْ تَأْكُلُوا لُحُومَهَا فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ كَيْ يَسَعَكُمْ ، فَقَدْ جَاءَ اللَّهُ بِالسَّعَةِ ، فَكُلُوا ، وَادَّخِرُوا وَاتَّجِرُوا ، أَلَا وَإِنَّ هَذِهِ الْأَيَّامَ أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ ، وَشُرْبٍ ، وَذِكْرِ اللَّهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Nubaisha (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: We had forbidden you from eating the meat of sacrifice for more than three days so that it would reach all of you. Now Allah has granted abundance, so eat it, store it, and give it in charity. And remember that the days of Tashreeq are days of eating, drinking, and remembering Allah.
