Hazrat Tufail bin Sakhrarah, who was the maternal brother of Hazrat Aisha, says that once he saw in a dream that he passed by a group of Jews and asked them, "Who are you people?" They replied, "We are Jews." Tufail said, "You would have been a rightly guided people if you did not consider Hazrat Uzair as the son of Allah." The Jews said, "You too would have been a rightly guided people if you did not say, 'What Allah willed and what Muhammad willed.'" Then he passed by a group of Christians and asked them, "Who are you people?" They replied, "We are Christians." Tufail said, "You would have been a rightly guided people if you did not consider Hazrat Isa as the son of Allah." The Christians said, "You too would have been a rightly guided people if you did not say, 'What Allah willed and what Muhammad willed.'" In the morning, he narrated this dream to some people, then went to the service of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and narrated this incident to him as well. The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked, "Did you tell this dream to anyone?" He replied, "Yes." So, after finishing the prayer, the Prophet (peace be upon him) stood up to deliver a sermon, praised and glorified Allah, and said, "Tufail has seen a dream which he has narrated to some of you. You used to say this phrase, and I felt shy to stop you from it. Now do not say, 'What Allah willed and what Muhammad willed.'"
